As a long time Docs wearer that has had my fair share of blisters, put these in your shoes: amazon.com/dp/B003URZNW0?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_4 they are a lifesaver. I've ordered them many, many times for my Docs. Those + some thick socks (ones made specifically for Docs, or Darn Tough) you'll never have that problem again. Secondly, my new Vessi's gave me blisters about that bad a little over a month ago. I put on blister hydrocolloid bandages for the first few days and they were healed in less than a week. Highly recommend going that route if you can. My heels are as good as new now!
