Buy a new or used harness. -or- Cut the tape back to expose the wires. Carefully splice any damaged wires. If the insulation is even nicked, just splice it. You can use this: butt connector w/ solder has solder. Strip the wires back, insert, hit it with a heat gun to shrink the heat shrink and melt the solder. Pro tip is to stagger the connectors so they don't make a huge bundle. Then wrap with electrical tape and then friction tape. I would cut open that harness on the upper left too just to check. Then lift the tank and the seat to check for more damage. Open the air box and check the battery / relay area also.
