Solid front panels are terrible for airflow. Your case is a bit of a middle ground in this regard, as it's not a flat front panel so the sides are open. I'd upgrade the cooling. Something like Arctic P12's in the front, these are high pressure fans so they work better given the front is blocked: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Y8N5J89 A 5800X has moderate heat output, maybe upgrading the 212 to say a Thermalright Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit. Or alternatively move the stock fan to the back, and slap another fan on the front. For performance, if you're gaming at 1440P/4K, them I'd definitely upgrade the GPU. If you're gaming at 1080P, I'd wait for the X3D relaunch. If it's not about gaming, then I'd switch to a newer platform like LGA1700/LGA1851 and an Nvidia card.
