I am sure there are workarounds, but the thing is for people who aren't that tech savvy to look at things like in the bios for it might think it would be able to wake up the system without any issues. For my system i do use this which does wake up my system but of course it isn't a controller even though it might resemble one but could be helpful and if the person doesn't mind using this instead.
