https://a.co/d/09FjfzHz this is the condenser I used. I used the original Chevy compressor with adaptors to standard threaded hoses. And I had to cut the pipes that come out of the firewall about 6-8 inches from where they connect at the firewall and had standard threaded fittings welded on to them. Then I just fabricated all the lines/hoses myself. I got all the fittings from coldhose.com. It takes a bit of sitting down and really planning it all out. You need to make sure to add service ports in places you can get to them, and a pressure switch of course. But the deeper you get into car a/c the more you realise just how universal all this stuff is. Every car back then is kind of the same. I looked up lots of instructions for hot rod ac systems and they all give a basic overview of how everything works, what size lines to use where, where to place the ports and switch. Once you plan it all out, it’s kind of fun. And pretty easy. Amazon sells a crimp tool that is more than adequate for home use (I use it professionally and it’s held up fine, but I only have to fab lines a few times a year). This is one of those things where it’s MUCH cheaper to learn it, buy the tools, and do it yourself, than pay someone else.
