I enjoy the Mr. Collins from Jeannie Penneaux's "Tact": https://www.amazon.com/Tact-Prejudice-Variation-Jeannie-Peneaux-ebook/dp/B07TJ1CN7Q/ He's close to cannon, but with just enough of the rougher edges smoothed away to show the solid person underneath. He has some very nice moments.
