I recently replaced my entire office's IKEA office cabinets and bookcase with three bookshelves and three stud-based wall shelves in order to showcase my addiction. This process for you can be amazingly fun due to the customization aspect but in reality, it is a pain in the butt. I found success on Amazon. There are a lot of storefronts to shop. I ended up buying an extra floor based bookshelf simply for the shelfing wood to hang on the wall using L-brackets so everything would match. The craziest problems I encountered were shelf thickness (so the weight doesn't bow the cheap material in the center) and shelf depth (to accommodate the hugeness issue of castles).
