This is the one I have. It clamps onto my headboard. There are other kinds that have an arm that will slip under your mattress or have a stand on the ground. Lots of styles to fit any setup. Sounds like some people use command hooks stuck on the wall. The options are endless! https://a.co/d/08vCER5d
