I may have overpaid for a decent hall effect magnetic switch pre built here but I can not explain to you how much it blew my expectations out of the water. I'm a software developer and play video games so I do use it a lot, and wanted a typing friendly keyboard first. I never expected to ever love a keyboard this much. I don't know about more budget friendly HE magnetic switch options but in my opinion it's worth paying a bit more to get that technology. Th 8k polling is probably overkill for most use cases and I really didn't look for that feature specifically.
