From Linux you want a QMK/VIA board so you're not dependent on some Windows driver for configuration. Even if you're not going to be editing it "too much" it's going to be too much. M1 v5 VIA or 5075B VIA are godo, the non-VIA use the "Akko/Monsgeek Cloud Driver" which is Windows/mac only. Aula doesn't support anything but windows. The AL80 is QMK, as are keychron's boards, but the YZ90 is proprietary with windows only driver.
