If you're going to use a static applicator, you'll need to jury rig a long enough wire to reach the whole panel. Apply adhesive. Get it on both sides of the baffle - the face that faces the driver and the face that faces the windshield. Shake flock on. You can't use too much. Go over it again facing the opposite side so that all the adhesive is covered. Let it dry overnight. Gently turn it over and shake loose the flock that didn't adhere. It will be a mess. Hopefully you used a drop cloth, but it sweeps up easily enough. Poke all of the speaker cut out holes. Technically, you can leave the center speaker holes covered. There's no speaker there. I used a wooden toothpick. If I were to do it again, I'd use black pipe cleaners and push once through, top to bottom. Clean out the defroster vent of any excess adhesive or flock. It's ok if it's coated. Just don't let it be blocked. Wait as long as you can to reinstall. Your car will stink like VOCs for a few weeks. Worth it.
