Buy a tripod, place it somewhere in the front. Not to back (unless it’s a 6 - 8ft stand). Even a friend that is really tech savvy will be great. Make sure you have enough storage. Start when the first person walks down the aisle. A mic this, like the girlies on TikTok https://a.co/d/00KlWHs5 Ugh I feel that about Covid!! It’s hard now with folks not wanting to spend money. Or having money! I’m sure one of them will be able to record up to 29 minutes. Not sure if a mic will work for a DSLR, I had to get a fancy one for that. Sounds like your dad will have a tripod! Those are more tricky to give to a friend.
