I tried one. It... Worked. It worked the same way Little Caesars is pizza, by pure technicality. If you want something that is actually functional, however, I would drop a few extra bucks on one of Gaahleri's airbrush & desktop compressor sets. It's what got me believing that airbrushes were actually worth it, and even though it does require a cord, it works much better and will give you an actual airbrush experience.

Lots of folks are saying this, but white's difficult to work with, even with something noticeably off-white. Take it from a Black Templar player: work up from grey. Slowly mix in your white(ish) paint over five or six layers. It sucks going through all those steps, but it makes it look way better in the end. Alternatively, invest in a cheap, entry-level airbrush and tabletop compressor (like this one). White goes on a lot smoother through an airbrush, even if it's still a pain b/c it wants to dry on the needle tip so often.
