I've got my Plex setup on my NAS and I use Tailscale for a VPN. I have the tailscale client on my phone so I can access the NAS wherever I am. I carry a USB hubs and an HDMI cable with me. I plug in the HDMI to the TV and the adapter to my phone. No problems so far.
