Talk to your counselor and find out if your school uses a multiplier for AP classes in the calculation for Valedictorian. If that is your goal, take that into consideration as you make your choices. I know many students who have handled 4 APs but you need to look at your big picture of sports/academic teams/work/volunteering and all the demands on your time. If you are not giving big commitment of time on sports, then you should be ok, and the bonus to your GPA may actually help your rank. If you are expected to work or play sports in addition to that class load, then you might need to make some choices and have a discussion with parent/counselor.
