No. I’ve lived in moldy houses and worked in mold my entire life. The only exception— for seven months I lived in a brand new condo. For that seven months and for about three months after that, I felt better than I had EVER felt in my entire life. Literally. Life was just incredible. I had so much energy and I was always in a good mood and my GI symptoms just vanished. Then the symptoms slowly crept back in. That was 14 years ago. I moved back into a moldy home and didn’t figure out until now, 14 years later, after spending almost $20k remediating my home and taking antifungals and binders, that it was definitely the mold. Sensitive people who live in moldy homes make bad life decisions. They’re raised by mold-sensitive people who made bad life decisions. These people are just trying to survive. I know for a fact how completely different my mental state is when I am not in mold. It’s drastic. I would go so far as to say that a very large portion of a mental illness in the general population is caused by mold. I think our HLA-whatever will be eliminated from the whole gene pool. The mold-sensitive people will just die out. Because it isn’t getting any better. It’s getting more wet and humid, hotter, and buildings are just getting older. https://a.co/d/06Dg6dKJ Sorry to be such a downer but we really aren’t meant for this world. I have to be real “present moment” anymore just to handle it. Try Spravato. It helps a ton with present moment awareness.
