I like the baofeng UV-9G. It is a bit chunkier than the gmrs version of the UV-5r, but it is water and dust resistant. Plus you can pick up spare USB-c rechargeable batteries for the UV-9R, which makes it a nice all around setup. Though I am not sure how water resistant the usb-c rechargeable batteries are.
