Not a direct answer to your question, but have you considered a standing electric desk? They are legit worth the money. I got an electric standing desk, and added an additional monitor riser (2 adjustable speaker stands clamped to standing desk + piece of wood on speaker stands + monitor resting on wood = adjustable diy monitor riser). This allows you to adjust desk so monitor is at eye level (whether standing or sitting). You can get standing electric desks at Walmart for cheap now ($70 - $100).
