I use a Vera Bradley backpack for my girls - I’m not sure the size but it’s one of the smaller ones. No complaints! Now with a toddler and newborn it’s a little tight at times, but I like having something a bit more compact and lightweight. Inside I have a folding changing mat with storage for diapers and wipes, and then I use water resistant zipper bags to keep things a bit more organized inside. (Aloha bags or something like these) This is a little ways out for you, but also highly recommend this restaurant bag when you get to the age where your kids are eating at restaurants. It used to come with the bib, and I would add it on just because it fits nice in the stash bag. We keep it in the backpack and it is so handy!
Same here! Even without driving a lot, we used the Kånken. We used clear zippered pouches like these to organize some things. I also plan to get a mini when our kid is a bit bigger! I also ended up baby wearing a lot, and didn’t like wearing a backpack with the carrier. On those days I used the Calpak Terra Sling bag. I will say this was all possible because I was able to exclusively breastfeed as well.
