Chunky heel means no sinking in dirt, low heel helps with comfort while still giving legs and butt a nice lift, my dress was super ornate so I liked that these were plain and couldn't clash. I wore them from 2pm until about 1am. My feet didn't hurt until we were being dropped off at the hotel after our reception.
