I'm all for finding non-plastic alternatives if you can, but weddings are expensive and planning is hard enough. So if you just can't research anymore and need plastic, we used this set and they were fantastic. Goodluck 600 Pieces Gold Disposable Plates for 100 Guests https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C21215T8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share They were durable, we had none break as far as I know. And we got a lot of compliments on how nice they looked against the burgundy and forest green tablecloths. We used the big plates for dinner and the smaller ones for appetizers and dessert, and the 9 oz cups for water at the tables. We bought 2 sets of those for $60 each for a 100-person wedding (with buffet dinner) and it was just the right amount. We have a few leftover, but not too many, and we didn't run out during the wedding. Dont forget to supply bar cups and napkins too, if they're not provided by the venue/caterer/bartender. We used these: 12 oz. cups (we ordered 2 200 packs for $40 each): https://a.co/d/0btqj9aD Straws (2 100 packs for $6.50 each): https://a.co/d/00UoCPXj Bar napkins (2 250 packs for $13 each): https://a.co/d/071FCQIP Table napkins (1 300 pack for $33): https://a.co/d/09bCnkjA All in all, $272 for all our eating and drinking item needs. Which is not bad considering what most caterers charge per guest for these things.
