Hi :) Thomann ocarinas are great :) the ones labeled Ocarinamusic are made by a really good maker named Hans Rotter (austrian). He's retired now, but there's still quite a few in stock. I reccomend an alto C (AC), the galliani model is a very good entrance, albeit with quite high breathpressure on higher register. Otherwise, if you want even more affordable, night by noble on amazon is a very good startingpoint for complete beginners https://www.amazon.com/Night-Noble-Plastic-Ocarina-Black/dp/B008WYNVAW It is also not that horrible to import. I didn't have more trouble with them than ordering through Thomann (I import to Norway) I also think it would be interesting to see what ocarina you purchased, as well as the maker. There is effectively no norwegian ocarinacommunity that I know of, and after a certain festival in Norway, a bunch of quite bad 9 hole ocarinas started circulating, with no proper reference point (as almost noone over here has a relation to the traverso ocarina outside of LoZ OoT), giving the instrument a bit of a bad rep in my city
