I put combo glass breaker/seatbelt cutters in both my, and my husband’s cars. Initially he joshed the hell out of me, nagging me, laughing each time, until I sent him an article of someone escaping a car sinking in a pond by the roadside, after it was rammed into it, at an accident at a 4 way intersection. I pointed out to my husband we live right on the ocean, and there are low lying ponds all over around here. I’d rather have a multi-tool in our consoles to get the hell out if trapped, than drown! Do yourself a favor and get these spring loaded breakers for anyone you love, they come with a zip tie to put around your mirror. https://a.co/d/05wFilhi If you’ve ever tried to swing one of those glass breakers and actually break a window it’s not easy. It’s harder if you’re upside down or partially pinned. It’s even harder if you’re upside down and partially pinned. It’s even harder than that if you’re upside down, partially pinned, and under water. Then it’s basically impossible if you’re upside down, partially pinned, underwater, and your tool has floated away from where it normally is.
