MECMO 4 Way Trailer Wiring Harness 56083 for 2020-2024 Toyota Highlander, for Lexus RX350 & RX450h (2010-2023), Lexus RX350L (2018-2022), 4 Pin Flat Tow Hitch Wire (Factory Tow Package Requires)

I have personally installed these parts on my 2026 plug in XSE RAV4 and it works. Converter module from Toyota to enable the built in wiring: PK5D1-42R00 plugs in behind left plastic side panel in the trunk of the car, near the floor. No cap on the factory connector. Second part you need is the wire extension that plugs into the factory connector that is capped behind the bumper on the far left backside. Gray connector with a black cap that you remove and plug in the extension that give you the 4 pin flat connector. This can be done without removing the bumper but it's a tight fit. Toyota part is PK5D2-42T30. This cable works but is short. Or you can get this one on Amazon. Much longer, 3-4' long. I used the part that is designated for Lexus on my phev. This, along with mecmo flat 4 harness works perfectly fine. I installed my hitch and wiring for about 250 dollars and 2 hours of work. You only have to take the drivers side rear inside panel of to connect the wiring converter. The flat 4 has a not so easy but doable connector under the bumper and it works perfectly.
