Empiretech sells rebranded imports on Amazon USAhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0G3393NK8 The one you’ve got has a 1/3” sensor, so from naiive photographer math the 1/1.8” should be (3÷1.8)^2 = 2.8x more sensitive in ambient light and see 3÷1.8 = 1.8x farther with the same illuminator. I haven‘t dug into it to know if they’re using different generations of sensor technology. I’m personally using a cx820. It does great in dark overcast conditions and twilight, ghosting is increasingly pronounced in darkness. I’d say it‘s about as sensitive as my dark-adapted human eyes but with worse AI detection. What I mean if there’s a person walking 100 feet away on a moonless night we’re both going to see a blurry mess but my human brain is going to fire an alert.
