I think your issue will become obvious once you do a tear down. Also there’s a special tool to compress the tensioner if you need take it back apart. Since you’re replacing the tensioner you won’t need it the first go around. But say you get it all back together and see your timing is still off, you’ll need this tool to get the tensioner back into its locked out position. https://a.co/d/05QbGJFT
