I just upgraded from my old Impalas to a pair of SureGrip Boardwalks. I love them! What happened was that I was switching out the wheels on the Impalas & it made me notice how cheaply-made the skates seem to be. But, I paid 40 bucks for them like 10 years ago, so they held up 🤷♀️ Definitely consider trying different wheels too especially if you are mainly indoors. It makes a big difference. The standard wheels that come on Impalas (& other comparable skates) are usually meant more for outdoors, and the grippiness can hinder you a bit if you're trying to work on skills, dancing, etc in the rink. ETA these are the wheels I got: Rollerbones 98A You will probably need a T tool and maybe a bearing tool. They're inexpensive & very worth it when changing out wheels & bearings.
