Put it this way, you will take the entire unit apart (motherboard out, screen off etc) to get to the "palm rest assembly" (with integrated keyboard) - there will be a metal back plate holding the keyboard you will have to break all the plastic mounts off (they kinda look like rivets) to get the keyboard out, you can replace the keyboard and you then somehow have to mount that metal backing back on and since the mounts had to be broken to get it off its a bunch of mucking around and either plastic welding or gluing which will probably fail, whole unit back together, the keyboard will probably sink from the plastic mount repairs failing. This is why we never do this kind of repair or waste time fighting it - palm rest assembly only. Do it once do it right.
