Instead of a poop chute, how about a poop drawer? Much more convenient in my opinion. In terms of tips, get your filament storage situation figured out sooner rather than later. I've taken to PRAKI cereal bins with printed shelves and hygrometer rings, but started out with vaccum bags and a spool rack I found on Amazon. I'm currently printing my shelves, which is why they're in the middle of the living room instead of where the spool rack is now... If you're going to print storage or shelving, print it as you buy spools, instead of waiting until you have to spend an entire weekend printing the same thing over and over.

PLA vs PETG vs ABS: PLA has low heat resistance, is somewhat brittle and weak, but is very easy to print with and is pretty humidity resistant. PETG is stronger than PLA and has better heat resistance, but is more humidity sensitive and can be a bit harder to print. I use it for printing large structural prints, like filament shelving, and high temperature prints like dessicant holders. ABS has high heat tolerance and is very strong, but is a bit of a nightmare to print. Noxious fumes and bad warping, especially without a heated print chamber. I only use it for quite high temperature application prints like heat deflectors, and for high-strain functional parts like an AMS flipper. If you're printing from the Bambu Handy app, you need to match the print profile with the material you want to use (color doesn't matter here, just the type of plastic), or download Bambu Studio on a proper computer to reslice the model with a different material. The P2S will prompt you to do maintenance on the printer itself. Just make sure you have grease and machine oil on hand. You should have gotten a few small tubes with your printer. Beyond that, wash your build plate with dish soap and water if you have adhesion issues, use a brass brush to clean your nozzle, and check under the nozzle's silicone sock every so often to make sure there isn't any buildup. For filament storage, I've been using PRAKI cereal storage bins — they're the perfect size to fit a single spool — and using a filament rack I found on Amazon. However, I'm switching over to printed filament shelves designed specifically to fit PRAKI cereal bins, since the Amazon shelves don't really fit the cereal bins that well.
