Interesting book on marriage trends - Modern Romance The biggest change IMO is the sense of someone "better" available in the next swipe. It can become addictive to some people, causing them to not want to commit, just in case. Yes, in general the sense of community, and not always being addicted to phones has changed the pace. That said, people our age, weren't digital natives, and I still have deep conversations with friends, and new acquittances on occassion.
