But you don't need miniLED to have more than 970:1 contrast. 1000:1 contrast was pretty much the standard in 2010. Manufacturers selling monitors under that in big 2026 makes no sense and no one should buy them lol. There're non miniled monitors with almost double that contrast. This one 320hz 1650;1 contrast ratio for example for $269. (bought it on sale for $220) Or this one 210hz but with 2000:1 peak contrast for $219. This is regular TN panel vs 1650:1 contrast KTC. Yep, an AMOLED looks maybe 5% darker if you turn off the RGB backlight and the light from the keyboard and watch it from the side. But who uses their monitor on a 100% pure black environment without any light source? That's not even healthy for your eyes lol. I get 95% OLED experience in SDR and 320hz for $200. To get a 320hz OLED I need to pay... $800? $1000 for one with BFI? Maybe the HDR justifies it, but I have my TV for HDR content, I don't really use HDR on my PC. You pay x5 times more for an OLED but you don't get x5 times the performance.
