So I have a client with 4 cats with all different dietary needs, so she got each cat one of these microchip feeders to stop them from eating each other's food. They are pricey though. Each of my cats have electronic food bowls that only open for the. It reads the microchip in their neck (or optionally a chip on their collar). We swapped to them initially because we had one cat that was just never full and we had to put her on a diet.. We also have an old cat that gets prescription food, and another cat that gets higher calories food (due to being underweight) and who only grazes on her food throughout. We have the option of adding multiple cats per bowl, but having 1 per bowl has saved us a few times when we had do to custom food changes. The feeders are a lifesaver. They also make ones that are a combination auto feeder and chip but we do half wet and half dry and that doesn't work with that.

Maybe a microchip feeder so they can’t access the others food?? They’re expensive but we have NOT ONCE regretted it. All our cats are a healthier weight now because the passive one can eat without being pushed away by the greedy boy. They all get the recommend daily amounts, we can clearly see who has eaten and how much they have eaten, and now that one of my cats is on a prescription diet, it’s made that significantly easier!
