That is not in use yet, but I have another 2-drive version of the board in my gaming pc and it works great. The board requires that the pcie slot that you plug it into supports bifurcation which is relatively rare in consumer motherboards, and even when it is available it often only works for 4 drives in the 1st pcie slot which is where the GPU ought to be. The second pcie slot in my gaming pc supports x8/x8 bifurcation so it only supports 2 drives. The board is specifically meant for u.2 pcie SSDs. There are single-drive versions of this card widely available for PCs that don’t support bifurcation on the pcie slots.
