I'd say stick with this lineup for USB4 40/80Gbps cables up to 5ft (the longest certified 40Gbps passive cables are 5ft - also note that certified passive 40Gbps cables can carry 80Gbps since the electrical requirements are identical). The 5ft and 3.9ft are certified and the shorter ones aren't - but they're likely using the same cable stock so I'd say the risk of them not working is very low. The pricing is very reasonable. I really like this cable - I think it's the best value. ACASIS Intel Certified Thunderbolt 4 Cable 6.6ft Passive 6.6ft USB4 20Gbps cables are cheaper though. I think this is the cheapest right now. I have one and like it. Sewell USB 4.0 Type C 20Gbps Cable, USB-IF Certified As an aside, if you want the bleeding edge in passive cables, this one hit the market recently. 20Gbps and 10ft long. The spec-compliant way to do this would be with cables and hubs(s). Currently the longest USB-IF certified cable faster than USB 2.0 (480Mbps) is 3m long. The longest USB 2.0 is 4m long. The hubs can be bus-powered since you'll have an externally powered hub at your desk.
