Thanks! I'll use your specs as reference when I start picking out hardware. I'm probably gonna end up going with something AM4 for this build, but I'm purposely avoiding making too many hardware choices now because I don't want to lock myself into anything. RAM/Storage should hopefully go down in the coming weeks. Looks like a 2x16GB A-Tech ECC DDR4 2400 2Rx4 kit would cost me ~$260 US, with a 2x8GB kit being about ~$100 (Worth noting that I don't live in the US and prices will always be generally higher). I still have to do some reading on terminology for ECC ram specifically to see if those kits are any good. If I was to eventually put a GPU in this it'd be fun to get an old workstation GPU with a decent amount of VRAM so I can use it to do Blender renders without taking up the GPU in my PC, but that would be well in the future
