APC has an estimator on their website.. I stopped buying the BackUPs units since they only last 7-8 years typically. The only once that I’ve found works longer is the APC UPS 1500VA Battery Backup Surge Protector, BR1500G. We are using 3 of these now purchased in 2015 iirc and all 3 are running great still. Bonus with these is they accept the APC External Battery Pack, BR24BPG also! All 3 of ours also have this battery pack. I’m currently running a Gigabit Z790 Aorus Master X Mainboard with i9-something cpu, 256GB ram, a RTX 4070 12GB GPU, loaded with NVMEs, 2 12TB HDDs, 2 Watercoolers and pumps, 2 older 24” flat panel and 2 27” curved screen displays, a Netgear XS708E 10GbE 8-port rack switch, a Netgear GS108E 8-port desktop switch, a Minisforum NAB9 mini pc with i9 and 64GB ram, 2 BeeLink S12 Pro mini PCs, an Archer 9700 Wifi7 router in AP mode, a 10 USB power bar, a Supermicro SC813M 1U rack server and a Talari E100 SD-Wan network appliance (the later two temporarily). I have about 20 Firefox windows open and 100s of tabs, CS2 is running, Plex desktop is streaming The Night Agent S02 E06 AND I have 2 USB powered 15” led light bars on top of 2 of my screens on.. All of this is running from the 1500 with BR24BPG and looking at Current run time I have 28 minutes of uptime. And that’s accurate. New batteries were added last month. Removing the 2 1U systems (Supermicro and Talari) I get 36-38 minutes UP uptime usually. Most of my other APC units are larger rack systems that are 25-30 years old and still work great. New $110 batteries ever 5 years. I really couldn’t be more happy with the Backups Pro 1500 and its External battery pack. Highly recommend these two units. Note that you DO want to buy larger then you need! They will last longer with a lighter load.. once you start pushing 60% the Backups units life frame starts to go down by not days but by years.
