I've done my entire house in this OP and I think I can help. I didn't do this on every plank but knowing this trick is helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkAiPRZBUNk Watch this guy's whole video, leaving the whole row angled and then pressing it down (might need another set of feet or two depending on your runs) is the way to go. Even when you do this though I would recommend going back and tapping until it lays flat after you step down on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIPDgyQ5f8M Get one of these, it is worth it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YKX6VF3 Whenever you tap DO NOT use things like this: https://www.amazon.com/NAACOO-Tapping-Block-Laminate-Flooring/dp/B0C9MMF1J3 You WILL damage a piece at some point if you use those, and just because bad shit happens, it will probably be a piece that was a difficult cut. Instead, when you are tapping just take a piece of of scrap and insert the tongue into the piece that you want to tap and use that big black block on the scrap piece. If you have any questions reply here. Everyone is going to tell you that it is shit flooring because of this weird floor and decor hate bias. It has held up really well for me, it looks really good, I had literally never installed flooring before, I made all the straight cuts with one of those manual lever style cutters that they sell at floor and decor and all of the difficult angled cuts or cuts where I needed to rip a whole piece I made with a DeWalt jigsaw. I do think it is imperative that you remove your baseboards rather than use a quarter round. Plus, removing the baseboards gives you the opportunity to clean them up really well and put a fresh coat of paint on them. The fresh baseboards are the icing on the cake. No matter what DO NOT SKIP THE UNDERLAYMENT Edit: You're also probably going to need a multi-tool for undercutting door trim but you could technically do it with a handsaw meant for that purpose (I don't recall what they are called).
