It wasn't too bad stock but it was still there. Not enough to ruin any experience but some people might be more sensitive to it. I bought the Globular Cluster Kit for mine and it made it a lot better. Of course if you look for it it's still there but it really helped me. This is just my experience but I think OLED is far and away the most important aspect of VR displays so I would take the tradeoff every time. The kit also made it A LOT more comfortable which is pretty important when playing long sessions, though the stock strap is still just fine if not a little heavy on your nose.
