I’m using a BlackVue B-124X Plus with two B-124E expansion batteries for my dash camera. The B-124X, which is the main battery, comes with a USB Type-A port, so it was an easy setup. If you’re using a battery pack that accepts USB Type-C, you should be good to go as well. I’m not really sure about connecting the fan directly to a 12V power source, because these fans are USB-powered and are rated for around 5V, maybe up to 8V depending on the model. You’d probably need some kind of 12V-to-USB converter to run them safely from a vehicle battery. Also, the fan already comes with a built-in temperature sensor and controller, so it will automatically turn the fans on and off based on the temperature you set. All you need to do is cut the original fan connection on the controller side and connect the two RC fans in parallel. You don’t need any additional controller or switch for the fans themselves, the temperature sensor handles everything automatically once the set temperature is reached.
