As a first time mom I would also get at least one kimono style outfit, basically it just is a style where the snaps are offset and don’t go over a babies head. These are helpful for the first few days when they still have the cord stump (so a zipper isn’t traveling right over it and possibly irritating it). Also just because it doesn’t go over the head they are a little comforting when they are new and scary and you worry about moving them. We def used them more with our first than our second. Here is an example https://a.co/d/081y5VSc. Also with a September baby think about what would be a good and warm Halloween outfit. I think the only other like big advice I would give is as tempting as it is to stock up on bottles and diapers and formula etc, babies are picky and fussy and they like to decide that they don’t like what you have stocked up on. So like bottles, we were formula only we got maybe 6 Doc brown bottles and then at least one or two other types just in case she didn’t like those. Things are so easy now to get as curbside or delivery that you can be more reactive and it will likely save you money. You also don’t know what you don’t know. Unless you have a big family and really can get a lot of future stuff from a baby shower, it’s totally okay to not worry about stuff for 6 months and beyond. Like picking a high chair or stuff like that, it lets you remove some decisions and feels less overwhelming.
