Sorry, I swear I'd seen a post about this but I can't find it no matter how I search. We're looking around for options to protect LVP flooring from the rubber gym mats we bought. It doesn't need to be much - the concrete under the LVP is finished, and the LVP itself is already failing in places near the gym (they didn't level the floor and there's a dip in a high traffic area that started failing within two years), so I'm mostly just looking to prevent staining by placing an inexpensive, breathable barrier between the rubber mats and the floor before we install the rack and move the bench into place. I could swear I'd seen a post stating that something like a felt moving blanket would work just fine. Is that a good idea? Any drawbacks we can expect? Alternatives?
