I did a lot of research on shower water filters as we have hard water with a high concentration of chlorine which removes natural oils from hair and skin, and can cause rashes, irritation and scalp issues leading to hair loss. I had never had hair loss until moving to a rural area which has older pipes and more sulfur, calcium and other minerals in the water and the chlorine was also tested to be stronger. I looked up the testing standards used for industries dependent on municipal water improvement and found Sprite, and have been using them successfully for 22 years. My hair and skin are no longer dry, my scalp is not itchy and my skin not scaly. Eskin does not have a lab test standard for chemical removal but does use carbon filtration and KDF 55 filter media but in smaller volume and requires filter changes more often and at a higher price. So it appears you are paying for marketing unless increased water pressure is your only goal but cheaper filters and shower heads can do that for less than $150 initial cost of Eskin and Eskin’s filters change required every 1 to 3 months. Sprite filters last 6 months and for a single user up to a year! Sprite filters can and do reduce pressure slightly but most larger filters with longer replacement cycles will reduce pressure a very small amount. I lab tested for water quality and water pressure many shower filters and was using Aquasauna large in line filters before and had good results but the Sprite filtered out more heavy metals and chlorine so I switched and have not gone back. Aquasana is used by many luxury hotels and spas. The Sprite metal housing filter is the one I use and you can get it on Amazon or direct from Sprite : https://a.co/d/0iwQVvjz The small nozzle holes on the Eskin are what is boosting pressure at the shower head but also make it easy for media and corrosion particles to clog up . https://www.spriteshowers.com/ I am not affiliated with Sprite industries and am providing this information on my own personal experience in an effort to bring clarity to the social media community on shower filters. Here is a Google search for comparison of features and cost between Sprite and Eskin: https://www.google.com/search?q=eskin+shower+head+vs+sprite+shower+head&client=safari&hs=Dg3p&sca_esv=dd2fe0b82f78cb75&channel=iphone_bm&biw=375&bih=727&sxsrf=ANbL-n5pGMr-HvP2M-tUUg3G8FYTMQtjDw%3A1781197480917&ei=qOoqaszJN5-B0PEPlJnl2Ac&oq=eskin+shower+head+vs+sprite&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIhtlc2tpbiBzaG93ZXIgaGVhZCB2cyBzcHJpdGUqAggAMgUQIRigATIFECEYoAEyBRAhGKABMgUQIRigATIFECEYoAEyCBAAGIAEGKIEMggQABiABBiiBDIFEAAY7wVI4DZQkApYiCZwAngBkAEAmAGnAaABswyqAQQwLjEyuAEByAEA-AEBmAIOoAKbDcICChAAGLADGNYEGEfCAgYQABgWGB7CAgsQABiABBiGAxiKBcICBBAjGCfCAggQABgWGAoYHsICBRAAGIAEmAMAiAYBkAYIkgcEMi4xMqAHx06yBwQwLjEyuAeIDcIHBzAuMS45LjTIB16ACAA&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp#lfId=ChxjMe
