It sticks to their bodies getting into their lungs and they spread it to their nests. Put some around the barriers of the home, attic, doorways, anywhere bugs walk through. It won't kill them immediately, but after a week or so, it will start to kill them off. Because it kills them with micro abrasions by sticking to their bodies and lungs, they won't become immune to it or avoid it like they do with chemicals.
