I’m in Virginia and we are getting very hot and humid here already. I bought several different sized cooling collars off Amazon that have ice packs in them that I use. For short nosed breeds they ONLY get potty breaks, not walks. Other dogs I either limit walks to 10-15 minutes with the cooling collars and we try to stay in shady areas and we spend the rest of the time inside playing, or I switch them to early in the day or evening if possible.
