One of the washable puppy pag blankets should be a good fooring for the main pen, where you put the litter box. We have this Washable Pet Pad Bunnies don't like to be on slippery floors because they only have fluff on their feet and will slip. Also, being on grates like the cage in the picture for too long a period will hurt their toes. A good hay is Timothy Hay, but there is also Orchard Grass and Oat Hay that are also decent for bunnies. The hay should be the main diet. Bunnies like fresh water and a clean space to sleep. They should have unlimited access to hay and be able to eat it whenever they want. They are sometimes picky and will only eat certain types of hay or certain pieces within their handful, so you need to sometimes switch it out. For food, we give ours Oxbow Rabbet Pellets for eating. There is a feeding amount on the back of the package saying how many pellets per weight to give per rabbit. Also, some romaine lettuce is good. Fruits should be given as a treat because they are high in sugar and can hurt their tummies. You need a vet who specializes in small pets/rabbits because rabbits are sometimes considered exotic. They are easily frightened and their stomach aches can be very serious/fatal, so if you notice lethargy and not eating, it's best to have them checked out for GI Stasis. They can learn to go toilet in a litter box. We have this: Litter Box we line the bottom of the litter box with these Bunny Litter Pads. Since they're in the drawer, the bunny can't chew them. We have a hay bail next to it because bunnies usually use the toilet while they eat. We hook a hay basket like this onto the litter box: Hay Basket We also use a fence to block off the space for when he's not free roam. We have this fence in white Pet Fence and then needed to add chicken white to it because he could squeeze through and escape. We got a chicken wire like this: Black Coated Chicken Wire

That's a generic cheap grate, a very fine grate with 1mm spaces won't have be that one. But if you want the poop to fall through, you'll have to accept a few tiny drops might still cling to him or give up the concept of grate entirely. "the problem will only be marginally improved since it is still bare plastic so it will still cause him to be standing in pee, just less of it." Overall a plastic grate with evenly spread holes isn't that bad, there won't be that much pee for him to stand in. So just a generic plastic litter box with a grate, that has a removable tray or case in it would be good enough, I'd think. The tray is then filled with any thing of your choice, including easy to use puppy pads that come in sheets.
