Definitely a domestic bun! Bunnies can be hard to catch a lot of the time honestly, and it might be easier if you have help. I’d recommend looking up some YouTube videos of dumped rabbit rescues to get an idea for how they tend to go and different ways of going about it. A few I know that record the actual catching are The Pig Room and Lennon the Bunny. Here is a great video a redditor made not long ago too! https://www.reddit.com/r/Rabbits/s/UQkHXblRHZ Honestly though, since you are already able to hand feed the rabbit, that is a pretty good sign that you may be able to build enough trust to catch it within the next week (hopefully) if you keep coming back. Try bringing some leafy greens or some hay/-based treats too like these https://a.co/d/0fENDu7r What I’d do is start slowly holding the food closer and closer to your body each day until you’re able to get the bun close enough that you can VERY quickly grab him. Bunnies are super quick and have great reflexes, and you will probably only have one chance at this method since their trust can be broken easily in the beginning, so grab it firmly and as quickly as you can.
