We had some trial and error with ours, what’s worked best is to line it with 2 disposable wee wee pads with the white liner sides facing each other. Then we put a small amount of litter on top. The Rooly website has some wee wee pads from Costco recommended in their FAQ, but they were no longer available. We went with this brand for the XL Rooly. We don’t have the stainless version, so just be sure to check the dimensions of your box compared to pad options. We started with only one pad, but with two buns had a huge wet mess, now that we use two, it’s very easy to fold up and put right into a trash bag.
