Thank you for saving him! It seems like you know this but I can’t stress enough how much they need space to be happy, both for exercise and mental stimulation. When I first got my rabbit, before he became free roam, I used fencing like the link below to wall off parts of my apartment. I clipped both ends to the wall using cable clips and small carabiners.
