The room feels very unbalanced. Move the bed over to the left a bit. Are you attached to that couch? Do you have a living room? If so I would get rid of the couch. Put big lamp in the corner and some covered storage like this or this. If you want to keep the couch this needs to feel like 2 diff space. Move the bed over to the left as much as possible with medium sized rug. Lamp in the corner and round rug under the couch and add a coffee table. Remove the left end table by couch. Play with the placement of the couch. It might open up the room if you put it on the wall with the bed facing the desk, add rug and slim coffee table or storage ottoman. Also what is this desk situation? If the couch is on the wall facing the desk, you have room for a slim L shaped desk. Why do you have 2 nightstands with such a small bed? They are taking up a lot of visual space. Light wood would be really nice. BIG rug to soften the space and plants. What are your interests? Wall art can be hard to make cohesive. You can get a set like this. Or just buy stuff you like! Throw it up and hope for the best!
