For shin guards/gloves get top king or fairtex if your budget allows it. There's so many good brands to choose from but if you just want to get something dependable and call it a day just get one of those. Try to get stuff that is real leather and uses as little microfiber as possible because it will retain smell. I personally like to get two pairs of gloves. One for bag work and pads(10-12oz) and one for sparring (16oz). For now you can just get 16 oz for all around. gloves glove dryer if you want your gloves to last and to not smell like shit, get a dryer that looks like this. You will thank me later.
